The d20 conversions of Warlock of Firetop Mountain and Caverns of The Snow Witch were launched by Myriador at Gen Con Europe on the 18th April. Both scenarios were enthusiastically received by gamers at the convention.

Steve Jackson, co-author of the Fighting Fantasy™ series of game books was on hand at the convention to sign copies of his books and the new d20 Fighting Fantasy™ scenarios produced by Myriador along with author Jamie Wallis and the Artists.

Steve was also there to play the d20 conversion of Warlock of Firetop Mountain, the first time he had ever played any d20 game. The scenario was run by it's author Jamie Wallis who pitted Steve and Mike Dymond (Myriador's MD) against the many perils found within the Warlock's lair. Their survival seemed in doubt at many points but the intrepid duo soldiered on before falling foul of an enraged Ogre.

"Overall the weekend was a great success." said Mike Dymond, MD and Producer of Myriador, "We sold a good number of modules, Warlock selling a little better than Caverns. The response from the public was fantastic, many gamers remember Fighting Fantasy fondly, often it was their introduction into roleplaying."

Interest was very high with many gamers asking if Myriador intends to release other favourite Fighting Fantasy conversions - Death Trap Dungeon was mentioned by many gamers.

Both The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and Caverns of the Snow Witch will be available through local games stores and high street book shops very soon. Death Trap Dungeon will be available later this year, visit our 'Future Releases' forum for more information.
