Myriador at Dragonmeet 8th January 2004

Steve Jackson signing Myriador adventures and Fighting Fantasy™ books and a Deathtrap Dungeon competition, challenging visitors to see how far they could get before falling foul of it's deadly perils were two of the highlights of Dragonmeet.

All the competitors did well, the victor, Craig Baynmam-Evans, managed to get slightly more than half way through before finally being put out of his misery by Jamie Wallis, Myriador's Fighting Fantasy™ author and incredibly viscious DM.

Sarion the thief proved to be the most popular choice of character to use, although a couple of fighters and a lone cleric also braved the dungeons depths. Interestingly (and somewhat surprisingly) Craig chose the sorceror as his character, beating many of the more dangerous traps by Spider Climbing around and above them before falling foul of one of the dungeons many inhabitants.

Craig won signed copies of all four Myriador Fighting Fantasy adventures, the photo above shows them being presented to him by Mike Dymond, Myriador's Managing Director.

Our thanks go out to all those who visited our stand, especially the brave gamers who entered our competition.
